Well HELLO, Thunder Kitties!
I'm back from a visit to the island of Koufonissia (look for it on the map..southeast of Naxos).
Sorry, I was incommunicado while there and it took me a while to get to my 'pooter since back in Athens.
What can I say about the last few days? For one thing, I certainly was in over my head intellectually. It was like one of those European films...beautiful house...gathering of intellectuals/artists/thinkers and me! But everybody was really nice to me and I felt very comfortable and had a good time. It's just that when someone is holding a wine glass, speaking in an accent and wearing a bulky sweater and knee-high leather boots asks you "vot doou tink of dis?" It can be intimidating awlright? I wanted to blow some smoke through my nostrils and say "Merde, absolute merde" but I didn't and it's probably for the best.
You know what Kitties, it's really late and I have to sleep now. I'll try to send pictures of the island next but for now, I'll leave you with this, from the first place I went.
